Formation of Tariffs for Air Transportation of Non-Stackable Cargo

As per airfreight rules, air tariffs are applied according to the weight, volume, and other characteristics of the cargo. The article analyzes the calculation method of airfreight cost and chargeable weight for the goods with a non-stackable option. In this case, the additional costs and the reason for their occurrence during the transportation of non-stackable materials were investigated. For non-stackable cargo has been developed a method to determine the weight payable by the carrier. For this purpose, the “Packaging Decision Indicator” was developed in the MICROSOFT OFFICE (EXCEL) program.
