Lojistik Operasyon Sürecinin Dış Ticaretteki Önemi: Sivas’ta Faaliyet Gösteren İhracat İşletmesi Örneği

Tedarik zincirinin en önemli aşamalarından biri olan lojistik, dış ticaret yapan firmaların en önemli konusudur. Lojistik operasyon sürecinin doğru planlanması firma karlılığından müşteri memnuniyetine kadar uzanmakta ve işletmenin tüm fonksiyonlarını olumlu etkilemektedir. Sivas’ta faaliyet gösteren ihracat işletmesinin lojistik operasyon süreci incelenerek her aşamasının dış ticaret üzerindeki önemini ortaya koymak çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın uygulama bölümü için Sivas’ta faaliyet gösteren bir ihracat işletmesinde uygulanan operasyon süreci ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak operasyon sürecini gözlemleme ve not alma tekniği birlikte kullanılarak lojistik operasyon yöneticisi ile yüz yüze görüşme yapılmıştır. Uygulanan bu yöntemler sonucunda elde edilen bulgular işletmelere katkı sağlaması açısından raporlanarak sürecin etkin yönetilmesinin getireceği avantajlar belirlenmektedir. Çalışmanın sonucunda lojistik operasyon sürecinin tüm fonksiyonları işlevselleştirilerek kullanıldığında dış ticaret alanına büyük katkı sağladığı görülmektedir.

Importance of Logistics Operation Process in Foreign Trade: Example of Export Enterprise Operating in Sivas

Logistics, one of the most important stages of the supply chain, is the most important issue of foreign trade companies. The correct planning of the logistics operation process extends from company profitability to customer satisfaction and positively affects all functions of the business. The aim of the study is to examine the logistics operation process of the export business operating in Sivas and to reveal the importance of each stage on foreign trade. For the application part of the research, the operation process applied in an export business operating in Sivas is discussed. In the study, a face-to-face interview was conducted with the logistics operation manager by using the technique of observing the operation process and taking notes as a data collection method. The findings obtained as a result of these applied methods are reported in terms of contributing to the enterprises and the advantages of the effective management of the process are determined. As a result of the study, it is seen that it makes a great contribution to the field of foreign trade when all functions of the logistics operation process are functionalized.
